Tasty Birthday Treat

Easy.

Sometimes that is all you have time or energy for.  That's part of why I love the Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper.  It's coordinated, and the colors used in the paper are listed on the label, so you are EASILY able to pick the matching card stock shades!

For today's card, I started with a 4" x 6" piece of Tasty Treats DSP and cut the long edge at 5 1/4"  I flipped the paper to reveal the waffle pattern on the backside, and added that on top of the larger piece of patterned paper.  I topped that with a bit of the coordinating Peekaboo Peach card stock with my sentiment - from the Cool Treats Stamp set - stamped in Watermelon Wonder.  Then I added my die cut ice cream pieces that were cut with the Frozen Treats Framelits.  I sponged the edges of the cone with ink to add a bit of depth.

There's nothing plain vanilla about this cone!  I added some chocolate chip goodness by stamping one of the sprinkle stamps from the Cool Treats set in Early Espresso ink, and a bit of "frosty" sparkle to the die cut ice cream swirl.   Mmmmm....Mint Chip Ice Cream - Yummy!

Thanks for stopping by!

Much love,
