June Release from Picket Fence Studios

Hello!

The latest release from Picket Fence Studios is here!  There are some fabulous storybook/fantasy stamp sets in this release, a gorgeous hummingbird stamp, beautiful stencils, and fun new additions to the Paper Glaze family.  You can find the latest release here, in the shop.  As always I have a couple of cards to share with you today, showcasing some of the new products.

The first card today, features the new Princessland Dear Stamp Set, and coordinating die. I combined them with an older stamp set, Listen for Joy and its coordinating die, along with the Slim Line Cloud Coverage Stencil.  I stamped all of the images in Black Hybrid Ink, then colored them in with my Polychromos Pencils.

The image of the castle was snipped just slightly to allow the princess' dress to billow off the side.  Distress Oxide inks in Saltwater Taffy, and Evergreen Bough were used to create the background, and stamp the sentiment.  The curve of the hill was traced from the bottom of the castle die.

My second card is really easy to make, but features a new stencil that I adore.  I sprayed the new Tile Montage Stencil with a repositionable adhesive, before centering it over an A2 panel of navy card stock.  I spread Paper Glaze Enhancer through the stencil, and then set it aside to dry.  I chose to use the Enhancer specifically because of it's matte finish (you can mix Enhancer with any of the Paper Glaze colors to create a matte finish that is just slightly lighter than the original color).

The second layer that I did, was the new Huckleberry Blue Paper Glaze.  Paper Glaze has a satin pearlescent finish, which is why I used the matte enhancer to contrast that finish.  It really made the shine on the Huckleberry Glaze stand out.  I spread the Huckleberry Glaze over a white panel.

Once dry, I trimmed, then matted the white panel in navy cardstock.  I adhered that to the navy panel, and attached a heat embossed sentiment from the new stamp set, A Hummingbird's Song.  A few sequins from the I ♥ Mail Sequin Plus Mix finished off the card.

Be sure to join us this week for the 7 in 7 event.  7 in 7 is a series of live videos, in the PFS Community Group on Facebook, where different designers walk you through projects they created using the new products.  We begin each month with a review of all the new items by the owner of Picket Fence Studios, Nicole Petersen.   I'll be doing a video on Thursday with a really fun Fantasy Miss You card, with an ink blended background that you have to try!  Join me at 12 PM Central Time!

Don't miss out on the latest release!  I'll be back soon with more fun cards featuring these new products.

Thanks for stopping by!
