Two times the Thx | Create two easy cards at once

Hello!

Today, I have a two-for-one card design to share with you.  These easy cards came together really quickly and easily, and are a fun, colorful, way to say thanks.

I began this card the night before, by spreading a thin layer of Black Rainbow Paper Glitz over a panel of black card stock.    I laid the panel on a flat surface for the night, and came back to it the following morning (the Glitz did not need the entire night to dry, however, as I knew I'd be die cutting this panel, I wanted to be sure it was completely dry so my die cut edges stayed clean).  I die cut the Thx Word Die from the panel, and made sure to save the interior pieces of the die cut.

On two panels of Bristol card, I used my Life Changing Blender Brushes to blend a rainbow with Abandoned Coral, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks.  For variation, I blended one panel from the left corner down, and the other from the right corner down.  I wanted to add just a little more interest to the panel that would have the die cut on it, so I topped it with the Tile Montage Stencil, and added Crackling Campfire, Fossilized Amber, Mowed Lawn, and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Inks on top of the previous blending.

I trimmed the ink blended panels down to 4"x 5.25", and adhered them to the card bases.  Then I adhered the die cut to the stenciled panel, and the negative - including the interior pieces - to the plain ink blended panel.  I heat embossed a sentiment from the Swanky Friendship Sentiments Set, in white onto another piece of black card stock, and die cut them with the coordinating dies.  I then adhered them onto the card fronts.

As a final touch, I added Green Fairy Sequin Mix to the card with the die cut negative, and Iridescent Moonshine Sequins to the stenciled card.

Thanks for stopping by!
