Kindness Blooms

Hello!

Today I have a cheerful card to share with you, made with the Concord & 9th Kindness Blooms Bundle.  This pretty stamp set, includes a floral Turnabout™ stamp, along with the multi step flower and leaves stamps.  The coordinating dies, cut out the floral pieces, as well as sentiments in strips - where you can use the words, or the strips, or combine both in different colors.

To begin this card, I used my MISTI to stamp the floral pieces in lots of different ink colors onto Neenah card stock.  The leaves were stamped with Fresh Forest, and Limeade Splash.  The larger yellow rose, was stamped in Banana Cream, and Lemon Drop.  The smaller rose in Rich Coral, and Cranberry Bliss.  The seed pods were stamped with Pumpkin Bread, and the largest flower was stamped in Peaches and Cream, Rich Coral, and Fresh Forest.  I then die cut the images, using a small piece of micropore tape to hold the dies in place as I ran them through the machine.  I also die cut the sentiment strips from some Crafter's Companion Rose Gold card stock.

I cut a piece of Sweet Sentiment Premium Coloring paper to a card front size (4"x 5.25") and used my Life Changing Blending Brushes to blend Scattered Straw, Tattered Rose, and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks on the paper.  Then I layered up the floral pieces in the corners of the card front, using Lawn Fawn glue to adhere them.  I trimmed the excess off, and adhered the strips in place with the same glue.  I then layered the card front onto a top folding A2 card base created from the Neenah card stock.

This card did use a lot of inks, but I adore these happy colors all together.  Multi step stamps for florals are really fun, and it's a nice break from a line art stamp - so much quicker than coloring!

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy Monday!
