Huge Celebration Card with Gift Card Slide | Video

Today's the final card in this birthday/celebration themed week. Today's card is one that I think I will make in a wide variety of colors to keep for special occasions.  This card is perfectly suited for birthdays, graduation, engagements, weddings, promotions, new homeowners, or retirement.  Basically it's good for any occasion you might be celebrating and giving a gift card.

Today's card features the Celebrate Everything Stamp Set, the Confetti Fun ATS Stamp, and the Gift Slider Die Set. Fun Fact: The item number for the Confetti Fun ATS stamp, happens to be the month and day of my birthday!

I started my card, by stamping an A2 sized panel of Cool Pool Card Stock with the Confetti Fun Stamp Set.  I stamped horizontally in the middle of the panel, and then rotated my stamp, top to bottom, to stamp the top, and bottom of the panel.  Once that was done, I trimmed 3/8" off of each side to have the stamping fill the panel (some adjustment to the sides may be necessary, depending on how centered you were able to stamp the background).  I also trimmed a piece of Whip Cream Card Stock to 3.75" x  5.5".

Then I die cut the third largest circle cut die from the Journey Circles set, from the lower right side of the confetti panel.  I also die cut the bow portion of the Gift Slider Die Set, into the top panel of the Oatmeal Cookie Card Base at this time.

I lined up the Whip Cream panel and the Confetti Panel, and stamped my sentiment.  Then I adhered down the Whip Cream panel with Easy Glide Adhesive, being sure to keep the adhesive on the outer edges of the panel, to keep from adhering the gift card slide down.  I attached the confetti panel with foam squares, and then added a few sequins with Journey Craft Glue.

Super fun and easy!  I hope you have enjoyed this celebration week, and have found something to inspire you when you are creating for your next celebration.

Thanks for stopping by!

Much love,
