During the month of October, planners, accessories, and stamps are on sale!  Are you a planner person?  Be sure to check out all of the goodies available!

My project

I wanted to create a little insert pocket for a planner.  I make a list of goals every month, of things I want to accomplish.  Typically, I break it down into weekly tasks that seem a bit more manageable, and will help me get to the month end goal.   One goal, is to pass out a certain number of business cards each week.  A pocket that I can insert into the weekly schedule is an easy way to keep track of this.

How it was made:

To create my pocket, I cut two hearts from the Love Tab Die, from Watermelon Fusion card stock.  I put both of those hearts in my spray box, and spritzed them with the Watermelon Color Splash.  Once that was dry, I heat embossed the "Set Goals" stamp from the Take Action Stamp Set, and stamped the additional sentiments in Black Licorice.  After, I added a little bit of Sparkle Silk.  I adhered the bottom and up halfway on the bottom curve of the heart with White Liner tape.   This left the top and side with the holes open.  Once in the planner, but side is closed off.  I cut a small strip of pearls off of the larger sheet, and used my clear pigment ink to coat the pearls, then heat embossed them in gold.  I had to do this twice to get full coverage on the slick surface.  Then I used a small drop of Journey Glaze to adhere the pearls.  Because this pocket will be moved a lot, and things added into the pocket, I wanted those pearls to be well adhered.

I hope this inspires to you to create a fun pocket of your own.  Be sure to share your photos with me when you do?
