Watercolor Drips & Thanks

Sometimes you have to experiment, and have a little fun with your crafting - and that's exactly what  the background on this card was all about!

I used the emboss resist technique on this background.  After I stamped and embossed the Hardwood background, I sprayed my background with a bit of water, and did a soft wash of Bermuda Bay.  After that dried, I concentrated a bit more of that same color at the top of the background.  Then I held my paper upright, and brushed a very wet and inky (Island Indigo) brush across the top edge of the paper.  I continued to add more color, and water, until I was satisfied with the results.

Thanks for stopping by!

Much love,
