Lifting Me Up

The last few weeks have been manic, and have flown by so quickly!  I had a cousin get married last weekend, and I was asked to make some cookies for the reception.  So we took a very quick trip to the Salt Lake City, UT area.  We did sneak some fun in as well.
Found a new favorite road trip snack!

We were less than 2 miles away, and had a few minutes, so I made hubby
drive by the Stampin' Up! Coporate Office so I could take a couple of goofy photos.

We went to Ikea for the first time ever.
Holy smokes - I could spend a fortune there!

We went to the aquarium.  I love the otters, and penguins, and could easily spend all day watching them.
Hubby liked the shark tank.  There was a tunnel where you could walk through the tank, and have the
sharks swim over the top of you.
And we also went to In-and-Out burger (I'd never been), but no photos, as I was starving at that point and gobbled my food way too quickly.  The trip was only two days, before we were back home, to start up the next project!

The set I used in today's card has been omnipresent on my craft desk lately, and seemed really suited to the team challenge this week.

I love that mint DSP background with the pop of watermelon from that smaller balloon peeking out.  I'm going to be so sad to see these colors retiring in a couple of months (and my TAUPE is going!  No - not the Tip Top Taupe! *sob*).

The Designer Series Paper used on this card was from a Sale-A-Bration set.  You can get this DSP stack for free with a purchase of $50!

Thanks for stopping by!

Much love,
