I did sneak in a couple of batches of divinity earlier this week. I'm not a fan of this particular candy, so I only make it just for the couple of people who adore it - plus I don't add nuts.
Today's card took a lot of arm muscles to crank out of the big shot. But I love the final effect. I drew an, off-center, circle onto my card front, and then glued down my pine boughes and pine cones around that shape. I decided that the wreath needed just a little something, so I added some holly berries and a sparkly silver bow.
My sentiment (which was stamped before I glued anything on), was stamped with red ink, which I quickly covered in sparkly red embossing powder. This allowed the sentiment a more "solid" feel.
Have a great day - I'm off to roll out sugar cookies.
Thanks for stopping by!
Much love,
