Gift Card Thank you Envelope

I wanted to make a cute little giftcard envelope for a gift card I was giving as a thank you gift.  I love the plaids in the Warmth and Cheer DSP, so I wanted to use those, and, given the time of year, I wanted to include a bit of a festive touch.

I used the envelope punch board to create a small envelope.  I decorated that with a bit of DSP and a copper banner.

I made a belly band to slide on and off the envelope to keep it closed.  I punched a flower with the Festive Flower Builder Punch and added a retired gem to the center (the Metal rimmed pearls  would be a good replacement for the gem).

The gift card I purchased came with a small hole punched in it, so I tied it onto the little card I put in the envelope to write my message.

Thanks for stopping by!

Much love,

  1. Very cute. Love it. What size of crumb cake card stock did you start out with for the envelope punch board and how did you punch and score it? I would like to try and make some. Thanks. barbhann@sbcglobal.net

    1. I used a piece that was 5-1/2" square, and punched/scored at 2-3/8". Thanks!
