Raindrops

We are happy to introduce a new sponsor ... Digi Darla's Designs! Our random prize winner will receive their choice of  FIVE images! DigiDarla is the brain child of Kim Eskola and her daughter Emilea...

This week is a our challenge for you is:

SKETCH CHALLENGE
Please follow this sketch for your card creation.  You are free to flip it, rotate it, stretch it, add to it, or subtract from it, as long as we can see our original sketch in your creation!
(Colors are shown only for clarity.)

I chose to keep fairly close to the sketch, however I did streeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetch the center layer (shown as white) to accommodate my image.

This card was so MUCH FUN to make!  I used "Crissy and Umbrella" and this adorable image was just so fun to color.  Of course, I hummed the tune I created the sentiments around the whole time.

I used glossy accents over the large raindrop in the sentiment, as well as to create some raindrops over the image.

The inside is layered up, and includes more of the lyrics from the tune.

Materials Used:
  • Kraft, aqua, white, Card stock
  • Sweet Afternoon (Teresa Collins) paper pack
  • Crissy and Umbrella by DigiDarla
  • Sentiments created by me
  • Distress Ink: Weathered Wood
  • details sheer ribbon
  • Random Adhesives
