Sending Hugs | Crafty Friends Blog Hop ft Trinity Stamps

Hello!

It's that time of the month again!  Time for another Crafty Friends Blog Hop.  If you have not joined us for one of our hops before, the Crafty Friends Blog Hop is a group of friends who have all shared some common crafty beginnings, and we hop each month with a spotlight on a company we love.

This month, we are spotlighting Trinity Stamps.  Trinity Stamps has kindly given us a 20% off coupon for our readers to use in their shop over the next couple days.

Today, I'm using the Sending Hugs Die Set - which is a great stand-alone die set.  I started the card with a top folding white card base.  I taped that to my work surface with Painter's tape, using the tape to both hold the card in place, as well as mask the back of the card base.  I used the Life Changing Blender Brushes to blend Dusty Concord, and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks onto the card front, when I was satisfied with the saturation of that, I added a bit of Black Soot Distress Oxide ink to the top near the fold of the card.  I sprayed and dripped a little water over the surface, and allowed that to dry while doing my die cutting.

I die cut the "Sending" portion of the Sending Hugs Die Set, from Gold Foil card stock. Then, I die cut the "HUGS" portion, out of both Deep Lilac, and Rose Gold Glitter card stocks.   I layered the two card stocks for the HUGS using liquid glue, and used a white gel pen to add a few dot and line doodles for interest.  I adhered those to the card base, and then layered the gold foil die cut on top.  A few scattered pearls completed this card.

This was a super fast, and easy card.  It is easy to customize to the recipients favorite colors, and right now, a lot of people are needing hugs sent in card form.    Trinity Stamps is shipping now, so pop on over to their shop, and get some fun new supplies.  Don't forget to use the code CRAFTYFRIENDS20, on your purchase.

The next stop on the hop is Jen, and Stamping on the Fly.

For your convenience, here is a list of all of the stops today, just in case you get turned around.
