It's time once again to show the monthly Sweet Sentiment Coloring Class! Today I'm showcasing the February class stamp set "So Much Love".
This image is super cute. I colored it in with Copics (Because the instruction for this class also includes a list of marker colors, I do not share the colors used for the classes.) Then, I fussy cut the image.
I had purchased a few pieces of paper from the Simple Stories My Valentine line this year, and I knew I wanted to use one of those as the background. I chose to add two heart die cuts - the white with the sentiment stamped on it, and the red to frame the white. The sentiments were lined up and stamped to the side of the heart.
Aaaaaaand, this is where by execution failed me. I had lined everything up, multiple times, to make sure I had placement correct, but when I added my image on top of the hearts, I placed it just a hair too far to the left, and covered a letter in my sentiment. Ooops! Good thing it's for my husband, and he KNOWS I'm a hot mess most days!
I popped the heart and image piece up on foam squares, and attached it to the patterned paper, then I trimmed the edges of the heart flush with the edges of the paper. I matted the card front on black card stock, before adding it to a white card base. A few white Nuvo drops finished the card off.
This year, Jammie is offering two options for the monthly class. You can get the usual class kit, with the adorable stamp set (while supplies last!), or you can get the kit, and an add on class the teaches you how to Color All The Things (CATT). The CATT add on, teaches you how to create a scene for your character to live in.
This month's kit, features the stamp set, some action wobblers, and some fun fibers. Remember, the videos will continue to be available, but the kits are only while supplies last - so be sure to get yours while it is available.
Thanks for stopping by!
