Take the Scenic Route (Retiring)

I shared the Spring into Summer Retirement list with you on Friday, and realized that there were a couple of the stamps that I had that I hadn't even inked up yet!  I couldn't let go of the Scenic Route Stamp without creating at least one card with it!

I stamped the image on the background with Oatmeal Cookie - that had been stamped off once.  This created the faded pattern.  A sprinking of Sparkle Silk completed the background.   I then stamped the image full strength onto a scrap of Whip Cream, and used my Journey ColorBurst pencils to color in the flowers.  I fussy cut that image out.

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of Black Licorice and layered that over some Sweet Berry Card Stock.  Then I matted my card front onto some Black Licorice, and then adhered that to my Whip Cream Card Base.

Thanks for stopping by!

Much love,
