Roommate Gifts

I'm off at convention this week - my first time at a stamping convention!  One of the many traditions when crafters come together is roommate gifts.  And, of course, they have to be packaged cute!

I had been told that my roomie was a tea drinker, so I found some fun loose leaf teas to gift her, along with a tea ball infuser.  I packaged the teas up in our clear cello bags, and then added them to some cute little glass jars.  I printed the names of the teas onto Whip Cream, and then die cut the labels to add to the lid of the jars with a bit of twine.  The jars themselves are wrapped in dry embossed card stock in colors that (I thought) suited the type of tea.  I created a little basket for the jars using the corrugated stock sheets, and decorated that with a strip of colored card stock and more twine.

I wrapped the tea ball diffuser in a similar fashion, and created a matchbox from the corrugated stock for some small soaps that I found.  Again, this was decorated to match the tea pieces.  I also had found this amazing smelling lotion, as well as a glass nail file with my roommates initial on it, so I tied those together with an organza bow.

Thanks for stopping by!

Much love,
