I had so much fun making cards for the open house. This was the final card from my display. While simple, the thing I really liked was that this gave me an opportunity to show people how to adjust when things don't work out the way you wanted!
The background of the Whip Cream panel is stamped with the Honeycomb ATS stamp. I had borrowed some inkpads to use to create my display pieces, and the yellow I had chosen was much too dark for my tastes. So, I corrected it by stamping right over the top with a bit of Buttercream ink. It was the perfect thing to tone down the bright yellow, and keep my background from being overly distracting.
It actually wound up being the perfect coordinating color, to the label on the honey pot!
Thanks for stopping by!
Much love,
