Comforting Friends

One of my favorite products (so far anyway!) from FSJ is the colored pencils.  It has been a while since I colored much, and it was so much fun to pick those pencils up and get back to it.

For today's card, I started with a card front cut to 5.25" by 4", and I used the Bloom Wall stencil, and Oatmeal Cookie ink to sponge a pattern onto the the card front, about where my critters were going to be placed.

These adorable critters are from the Creature Comforts stamp set that was part of my starter kit.  There is also a beaver, skunk, and raccoon in the set - and they are adorable!  I stamped and colored my critters on Whip Cream cardstock, and then die cut the images.

I cut two strips of card stock, one in Oatmeal cookie, and one in Raspberry Berry.  My sentiment is stamped in Whip Cream Ink.  I added the strips of card stock to the card front, and then added my critters with some foam adhesive.  The card front was then adhered to an Oatmeal Cookie Card base.  As a final little touch, I added tiny little dots of Journey Glaze to the eyes and noses of my critters.

Thanks for stopping by!

Much love,

A note: I recently changed the host for my product lists.  This new host offers a downloadable supply list at the end of the posted supplies.  I wanted to make you aware that this feature exists, in case you are interested in saving a supply list to use as a future shopping list or wishlist.
