With Sympathy

Sympathy cards are horrible ones to make.  First of all, it's not a card you want to HAVE to make, and secondly, there is a bit of balancing act in making a card that's interesting to look at, and still respectful.

For this card I used the DCWV White Fern 6x6 stack - edging all of the papers with Prima Chalk ink in Shabby Tote.  I paired the papers with a stamp from Kaisercraft that I heat embossed in silver.  I used a bit of cream ribbon and some lace from my stash, along with some Iamroses rosebuds and a Recollections white rose.  A few pearl from my stash completed the card front.

I used another of the sentiments from the same set on the inside of the card, and left it with just the pretty papers as decoration.

Thanks for stopping by!
