You Warm my Heart

When this new Saturated Canary stamp was shown in the store, I knew I had to have it!  First of all, the penguin is ADORABLE!  And secondly, I love Krista's wintery images.  All of her images are gorgeous, but I just love the wintery ones especially.

I colored my image in with my eclectic mix of colored pencils.  The papers I've used are from the American Crafts "Hot Cocoa" pack.  On my Silhouette, I cut the little cup and hearts from card stock.  I used my colored pencils to shade in the cup, and then edged the brim of the cup and saucer with a gold marker.

I used a little Hampton Arts alpha set (I got it from the dollar bin at Walmart, back when they had a bit more of a selection), and gold embossing powder to create my sentiment.  The heart was punched with a MS punch, and then I used red Stickles on all of the hearts.  A few black pearls finished off the front of the card.

The inside of the card was dressed with paper from the collection, and a second image that I printed in blue ink, faded out onto white card stock.
