I Repeat, Thank You

Oh so much going on in the last month or so!  We are all moved into our new house and somewhat settled (outside of the DISASTER of a garage, but I'm pretending it doesn't exist right now).  Of course, my personal priority was to get my craft room up and going again.  I had legitimate reasons though!  We had 7 birthdays in the course of a week and a half - starting just a couple days after we moved!  So, I HAD to get to a point of being able to work - even if I still feel like its an organizational mess.  If you're interested, I've been posting a few sneak peeks here and there of my house over on Instagram.

Bad cell phone photo, but a little "thank you" package I had put together.
A cardstock box, filled with homemade cookies, and a card.
There have been so many people to thank in the process of all of this, I needed a quick and simple card design.  I decided to go back to the card I made at Christmas, and use it as inspiration for something.  The end result was something using similar elements, but has a completely different feel.

I cut a small rectangle from some scrap card stock, and then wrapped it with several coordinating washi tapes from my stash.  (I believe most of these are actually from Dollar Tree.)

I then used a bit of Papertrey Ink vellum to create a little belly band.  I stamped one of the Papertrey Ink  Keep It Simple Thank You Mini Stamp Set stamps with VersaMark, and then used a Recollections sparkle embossing powder to heat emboss it.

I didn't get a photo of the inside of the card, but I just added a couple strips of washi to the inside to coordinate with the outside.   And that was it!  Super simple, quick, and easy to do multiples.

Have a wonderful day!
