Love Is In The Air Pop Up Slider Card

It's time for another challenge at 613 Avenue Create!

This week the optional "Twist" for our anything goes challenge, is "Create your own Challenge" using the grid provided.  (The items I've used in my card are marked below).

And of course there are multiple sponsors this week.  I'm using an image by one of these generous sponsors, Lacey Sunshine!

I'm using "Pickles Sharing the Love" digi today.  Because of his design, I thought a pop up slider card was in order.

I colored the whole image, then separated the main image of Pickles from the hearts that he was scattering.  I used my Martha Stewart heart confetti punch to cut the hearts out, then used a second copy of the image to place the hearts where they'd originally been.  I stitched the bakers twine over the lines for the cords attaching the balloon and basket.  (And I poked my finger really good doing it, so I'm counting it as my "stitching"!  LOL!)

I printed the sentiment on my computer and then cut it out using the bottom portion of one of my Nestabilities dies.

The fun part of this card is that the balloon "floats" leaving the scattered  hearts behind.  The panel underneath is from the paper line, and I used washi tape at the top and bottom to keep the balloon from snagging as it was popped up and down.
