Gift Set

I have another project I created for 613 Avenue Create to share today!  As always, the challenge is Anything Goes, but the twist this week is to create a gift set.

Today I'm using an image from one of our generous sponsors The Stamping Chef

I chose to work with Huey Hummingbird, and his design worked perfectly for what I wanted to create!  Huey comes with the gorgeous flower shown, so I colored both, then fussy cut them both out so I could use them separately.

I created my bag out of kraft cardstock, then added papers to the front and back of the bag.  I cut the paper so that there was a pocket that the tag could slide in and out of.  This keeps the tag from disturbing the contents or ripping the tissue paper as it is pulled in and out.

  2. How Cute - Love the bag idea - do you have directions for making the bag? And it is a really GREAT idea with how you put the tag on the front with the slot in the papers!

  5. Sara, I think this gift set is just beautiful! I have been admiring it since I first saw it. The image is super sweet, but it is the colors of the whole project that just makes it so attractive. So glad you inspired all of us with this project!

Just popping in to let you know how much I love your project!! When I first saw it I thought "Oh how gorgeous!" Love how you fussy cut and separated the image and the creative way you made the pocket for the tag!
