Where it all happens - now!

Almost exactly a year ago, I posted a photo of the setup I had in my dining room where I crafted.

While I was glad to have a space, of sorts, it was a bit of a pain to be in a main traffic area of the house.  My scissors and tape were forever disappearing, and I had unspeakable things happen to projects and pieces because of the pets.  (Apparently, glue smells and tastes yummy, but isn't so good in the tummy!)

A few weeks ago, my niece and great-nephew moved out of the house.  This left a room open, and I claimed it.

I HAVE A DOOR NOW!

My fabric is no longer in a box in the garage!  YAY!

So, because I'M enormously curious about this sort of thing, I'm inviting you in for a peek.  And, as much as I would love for it to be matchy-matchy and filled with amazing and gorgeous organization - it's not.  But, I'd like to think that this is closer to the typical crafty space than those magazine-style spaces are.  So grab a cup of your fave drink (and a couple cookies or some chocolate) and settle in for a tour.

  1. I just giggled like a fool all the way through this! Your room is as random as mine, and we have much the same stuff, except I have a Big Shot....and your room is bigger! I am NOT as neat and organised, though.....my desk always has a ton of stuff out that should be put away but I'm always in too much of a hurry to start the next project...hahaa! I LOVE your room and would feel very much at home in it....and I'm jealous of the pretty stuff you made and displayed....I don't have enough wall space to put anything on :( I really enjoyed the tour around your craft space, Sara.....I'll be able to picture you there, now, lol. And your birthday? You have a card coming......but it's late....but then, you'd be REALLY surprised if I was on time, now wouldn't you....hahaaa! xxx
