Bring on the RED!

I somehow managed to get my Valentine's cards done this year without making a card using my favorite stamp of Alyssa.  So I had to remedy that....

There are actually a few other favorites (supplies that I hoard away and refuse to use because I like them to much!) on this card.  The pretty background paper inside the oval cutout, the rose printed velum, and the printed tickets are all items I am stingy about using!

Materials Used:
  • Black, Red, White Card stock
  • Papers from my stash
  • Vellum Paper from stash
  • Distress Ink: Fired Brick
  • tickets from dhscrap
  • Alyssa stamp by me
  • Studio Calico wooden hearts
  • Doodle twine
  • Random Adhesives

  1. What a beautiful softened effect the vellum gives this gorgeous card, Sara. I love your choice of image....perfect!.....and the added tiny hearts....and the sentiment is so lovely, but then, Victor Hugo is a favourite of mine....his poetry is thoughtful and evocative :), and you used this quote beautifully. I'm so happy to see you've linked this little gem to our challenge at Card Crafter's Circle....good luck in the draw!
