Three Years

I have kind of a silly little project to show you today.   You see, we're celebrating in my house today.   It's my hubby's three year "soberversary" and it's kind of a big deal around here!

When he comes home from work today, he will be greeted with a simple banner that reads "3 Years".

I cut a sheet of card stock into quarters, and added the notch at the bottom.  Then, I used my homemade sprays (acrylic paint and water) to color the banner - the grid pattern was added with some plastic canvas as a mask.  I edged the banner with Distress Ink, then cut out the letters and inked the edges of those circles.  It will be tied up with some jute twine (it isn't in the photo, because I'm trying to hide the banner for now!)

There will also be balloons and cupcakes...and a very proud wife!
