WOYWW144 - (with a sneak peek of a new stamp)

I haven't participated on WOYWW before, but recently, after a year of stashing all my crafty stuff in various locations throughout the house, I actually set up a work space for me, so I thought I would christen it by joining in.  It only LOOKS organized because I've only had this desk to work on for a few days now.

There is the makings of a card..but there's some eyelets back there...and homemade mists (they're pretty settled at the moment)....hmmm...could  be interesting!?

The stamp is a new one that will be part of this week's release.  I tend to use the colored versions of my own stamps - mostly because I get lazy and don't want to color them again when I have a color one!  I was watching my Warehouse 13 dvds while making it - you don't suppose that influenced what I was making, do you?

      1. I use metallic acrylic paints (I have several different brands) and water. I fill mister about 3/4 full of water and add a good squeeze of paint - probably about a tablespoon. Leave some space at the top of the mister, because if the sprayer streams or clogs you'll need to add more water to thin it down. Then just shake it well and mist on the papers. FolkArt also has a line called "Extreme Glitter" that I use as well.

    5. Hi Sara,

Welcome to WOYWW! I was wondering what was in the mister bottles. I see your answer to Sandee on how you make them - thanks. I have a few metallic acrylic paints so may give this a try real soon.

      Happy WOYWW

Welcome to WOYWW...you'll love it here, a great place to share our mess and then the fabulous creations that rise from them. Can't wait to see your finished card....See you again soon!
