Over at Frilly and Funky this week, they are asking what is your favorite vintage style.  I would say my actual style falls dead center in the clumsy zone (with frills and bling).  LOL!  I definitely love the pinks and girlie shades - as well as the lace and ribbons.  I very much adore the vintage look, but I feel like I tend to lean more towards shabby chic-ish - I don't know that I would refer to it as "vintage" style.  I'm hoping to learn more though!.  

Yeah, yeah, I know the stitching is wonky.'s character?   It was actually my machine jumping combined with dogs jumping on me.  It's a good example of what I mean by the clumsy zone...something always has to go weird on me!

Materials Used:
  • Kraft, brown, white Card stock
  • My Minds Eye Lost & Found: Blush 6x6 paper pack
  • Label image from The Graphics Fairy
  • Offray Lace
  • Details Satin Ribbon
  • Sewing machine/white thread 
  • Homemade glimmer sprays (Pearl on large background and label/Pearl and gold on smaller background and oval sentiment)
  • Viva Pearl Pen: cream
  • Random Adhesives

  4. Well if you are developing your vintage style, I'd say you are off to a great start! Beautiful vintage shades and terrific ink distressing. I love that vintage image too - it works perfect as the focal point. We're so thrilled that you joined in the fun with us this week for our first challenge at Frilly and Funkie!
